Maxim has extensive experience in successfully bringing schools together. He served on the Governing Body of Andreas and Bride Schools during their federation in 2005, and later worked as Deputy Headteacher on the ‘Murray’s Road’ site of Scoill yn Jubilee during its amalgamation in 2012. Since 2017, Maxim has led as Executive Headteacher of Dhoon and Laxey Schools, guiding their federation, and in 2023 his role extended to include Willaston School. In 2025, he was appointed Executive Headteacher at Scoill yn Jubilee, relinquishing his headship at Dhoon as a result. Throughout these experiences, Maxim has consistently prioritised respecting the identity of each school while fostering strong internal and external relationships to ensure partnerships are both effective and sustainable.
