Maxim has considerable experience of helping schools come together. He served on the Governing Body of Andreas and Bride schools when they were federated in 2005, has worked as part of the senior leadership team as Deputy Headteacher on the ‘Murray’s Road’ site of Scoill Yn Jubilee when it amalgamated in 2012, and Since 2017 Maxim has worked as Executive Headteacher of Dhoon School and Laxey School overseeing their federation. At all times he has prioritised the need to respect both schools and establish strong internal and external relationships to make such a structure work effectively.
